In Luke 5, Jesus performs two powerful miracles that reveal something deeper about the kind of healing we all need. A man with leprosy comes in desperation, believing Jesus can make him clean. Another man is lowered through a roof by his friends, hoping Jesus will heal his paralysis. But in both moments, Jesus shows that the greatest healing isn’t just physical. Jesus reveals that He has the authority not only to heal bodies, but also to forgive sins and restore what is broken at the deepest level of the human heart. The healing Jesus offers goes beyond the surface. It changes us from the inside out.
