Waiting Faithfully for God's Promise | Eric Frisbie | Tomball | December 28, 2025

Bayou City Fellowship - Tomball

Mary and Joseph bring their newborn son to the temple, expecting a normal act of obedience. Instead, they encounter two faithful servants who recognize what others miss: this child is the fulfillment of God’s promise to save the world. In Luke 2:22–40, we see what it looks like to know God’s Word, wait faithfully, and respond when salvation stands right in front of us.

• Know God’s Word and obey it, even when you don’t fully understand
• Stay faithful and open to the Holy Spirit’s leading
• Respond to Jesus with gratitude, confidence, and a willingness to share

Key Scriptures:
Luke 2:22–40
Leviticus 12:1–8
Isaiah 49:6
Luke 12:51
John 14:6

Jesus is not just part of the Christmas story. He is the Savior of the world, offered to all people. If you’ve never trusted Him, today is an invitation to respond. If you already follow Him, consider how God has worked in your life and who you might share that story with this week. Share this message with a friend or family member who needs to hear that salvation has come.
